The main page of FirstView has the following parts:

1. Tabs

. Here you can switch between the main pages dedicated to:
Trips – View the detailed information on the trips and runs within your district and work with the map.
App Users – View the detailed information about parents and students within your district (in development).
Dashboard Users – View and, depending on the role, manage information about other district and school users.
Alerts – View and send various types of alerts within you district. For more information, see Work with alerts.


2.  Info pane
Here you can do the following:

View your current district and the service that covers this district. Depending on the service that covers a district, the label can be First Student ( ) or FirstAlt ( ). If you have access to several districts, you can switch between them here.

View your current time and your local time zone.

Search within FirstView for any keyword.

Open the documentation for detailed information about FirstView.

Contact Support.

Manage your profile: change the interface language and log out.


3. Alerts
Here you can do the following:

Send alerts immediately from the Trips page.

Refresh the information on the page.

Go to additional actions (for example, export trip details – in development).


4. Filtering pane

Use one or more filters to view detailed information on specific trips in your district. For more information, see Filter trips.

Depending on the service that covers your district, you can see the following filters:
• In districts covered by the First Student service:

5. Date selection

 Select any date for which you need to view the information. For more information, see Select the date.

6. Trips overview table

 Here you can view trip details, runs, GPS events, and more. For more information, see Trips table overview.

Here you can work with route and trip visualizations. For more information, see Work with map.
