Service alert types

Service alert type determines the recipients. There are the following alert types:

District – an alert has been sent to all recipients within the district.
School – an alert has been sent to all recipients within one, several, or all schools within the district.
Trip – an alert has been sent to all recipients within one, several, or all trips within the district.
Run – an alert has been sent to all recipients within a specific run of a specific trip within the district.

Service alert categories

Service alert category depends on the issue that needs to be communicated through an alert. There are the following alert categories:

Weather Issue

Select this alert category when weather conditions affect trips.

Traffic Issue

Select this alert category when traffic affects the trip schedule or there is an accident on the route.

No GPS Data

Select this alert category when GPS connection with the vehicle has been lost.

Mechanical Issue
