Service alert types
Service alert type determines the recipients. There are the following alert types:
• District – an alert has been sent to all recipients within the district.
• School – an alert has been sent to all recipients within one, several, or all schools within the district.
• Trip – an alert has been sent to all recipients within one, several, or all trips within the district.
• Run – an alert has been sent to all recipients within a specific run of a specific trip within the district.
Service alert categories
Service alert category depends on the issue that needs to be communicated through an alert. There are the following alert categories:
Weather Issue ![]() Select this alert category when weather conditions affect trips. |
Traffic Issue ![]() Select this alert category when traffic affects the trip schedule or
there is an accident on the route. |
No GPS Data ![]() Select this alert category when GPS connection with the vehicle has
been lost. |
Mechanical Issue ![]() Select this alert category when there is an issue with a vehicle (for
example, the bus has broken down). |
Custom ![]() Select this issue category when the issue does not match any available
issue category. |
