FirstView allows you to send different types of alerts to various recipients: the whole district, one or several schools, as well as participants of specific trips and runs.

To open and navigate the Alerts page


• In the top left, select the Alerts tab.

The Alerts page opens, and you can see all alerts that have been sent within your district. For each alert, you can view the following information:

• Type – Type of alert recipients. Possible types: District, School, Trip, or Run. For more information, see Service alert types.

• Received by – List of specific recipients that depends on the service alert type. For example, if the alert is of the Trip type, the Received by column will display one or several specific trips to which the service alert has been sent.

• Category – List of issues that need to be communicated through a service alert. Possible categories: Weather Issue, Traffic Issue, No GPS Data, Mechanical Issue, or Custom. For more information, see Service alert categories.

• Alert Time – Date and time at which the alert has been sent. You can sort the alerts by their time.
• Title – Alert title.

• Message – Detailed description of the issue.

• Created by – Email address of the FirstView user who has created the service alert.
