First View tracks the bus, not the student. Integration with First Student's Ridership product is available for districts that qualify.
First View + Ridership integration will allow First View to display the student scan
activity on and off the bus in the Trip History details in the dashboard for district/schools and as a push notification in the mobile app for parents/caregivers.
For manually routed customers: App users will manually add bus routes to their students for tracking. The student names on
the map will indicate what buses the user has added to those students for
tracking. Ridership scans are not explicitly tied to the bus that the user
has selected in the app for tracking for their student.
Clicking into the ridership notification will indicate what
bus the student is scanning on and off. If this is different from the bus that
the user has added to the app for their student, then they will need to adjust
this in the app to get the correct bus tracking updates on the map for the bus
that the student is on.
