1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") establishes the standards of conduct for users of the App and its associated tracking, notification, support, feedback, and communication features. By accessing or using the First View Mobile App ("App"), you agree to comply with this Policy and all applicable Terms of Use. The First View Mobile App is intended solely for its authorized purpose and must be used responsibly, lawfully, and respectfully. (See also - Support & Contact Feature Misuse Policy)
2. Authorized Use
Users may use the App only for legitimate purposes related to the services provided through the application. Users must:
- Provide accurate and current registration information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials.
- Use only accounts and information they are authorized to access.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Use the App in a manner that does not interfere with its operation or the experience of other users.
Misuse of the App may result in account access being revoked.
3. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
Account and Identity Misuse
- Impersonate another person, organization, or entity.
- Create accounts using false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information.
- Access information, services, or resources for which they are not authorized.
Technical Misuse
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from the App.
- Modify, copy, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, or create derivative works from the App without written authorization.
- Circumvent security controls or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, data, or accounts.
- Introduce viruses, malware, worms, Trojan horses, malicious code, or other harmful technologies.
- Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or methods not authorized by the App provider to access or interact with the App.
Abuse of Support and Contact Features
Users must use support, feedback, and contact channels only for legitimate service-related inquiries. The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Sending abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, or offensive communications.
- Repeatedly submitting duplicate requests after receiving a response.
- Submitting knowingly false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Using support channels for spam, advertising, solicitation, political activity, or unrelated business purposes.
- Excessive or disruptive contact intended to overwhelm support resources.
- Recording, publishing, or misrepresenting private communications with support personnel without authorization.
- Using support tools in a manner that interferes with the ability of other users to receive assistance.
Unsafe or Unlawful Conduct
- Use the App in connection with illegal activities.
- Use the App while operating a motor vehicle or in any manner that distracts from compliance with safety laws.
- Engage in conduct that could harm the App, its provider, other users, or affiliated organizations.
- Use the app to track or locate vehicles or drivers outside of the assigned student schedules.
4. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- All activity conducted through their account.
- Protecting their passwords and account credentials.
- Ensuring information submitted through the App is accurate and lawful.
- Using the App respectfully and in accordance with its intended purpose.
- Promptly reporting unauthorized access or suspected security incidents.
5. Monitoring and Enforcement
The App provider reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this Policy and may take appropriate action, including:
- Issuing warnings.
- Restricting access to specific features.
- Suspending or terminating accounts.
- Removing content or communications that violate this Policy.
- Reporting unlawful activity to appropriate authorities.
- Restricting access when directed by a customer organization, school district, or other authorized partner.
6. No Interference with Service Operations
Users may not engage in any activity that disrupts, damages, overloads, or impairs the App, associated systems, support operations, or other users' ability to access and use the service.
7. Changes to This Policy
This Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect operational, legal, security, or service changes. Continued use of the App following publication of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
