Adding Bus Arrival Notifications for an Added Student

Stay informed about your student's bus route by setting up a notification in the app. Notifications can alert you when the bus enters a designated area near a selected location.

How to Add a Notification

  1. Open the app and select Menu.
  2. Navigate to Students.
  3. Select the student you would like to manage.
  4. Choose View Details.
  5. Select Set Notification.

Select a Location

  1. A map and search bar will appear.
  2. Search for the address where you would like to receive bus notifications.
  3. Select the desired address.
  4. Scroll down and select Next.

Configure the Notification

  1. Review the selected address.
  2. Optionally, enter a custom name for the notification.
  3. Select Next.

Set the Geofence Boundary

  1. Choose a geofence distance for the notification: from 250 feet up to 2 miles
  2. Select Next.
  3. Select a Trip
  4. Choose the trip(s) for which you want to receive notifications.
  5. Morning route
  6. Afternoon route
  7. Other available trips
  8. Select Next.

Set a Time Range

  1. Enter the time range during which you expect to receive the notification.
  2. Select Next.
  3. Review and Save
  4. Review all notification settings.
  5. Confirm the address, geofence boundary, trip selection, and time range.
  6. Select Save to create the notification.

Success!

Your notification is now active. You will receive an alert when the bus enters the selected geofence area during the specified trip and time range.
