Trip changes are now visually highlighted on YB trip cards to help parents quickly identify updates to driver assignments, vehicle assignments and school stop arrival times.
These highlights are displayed across the Map and Student Details screens (for YB Hybrid and MC student trips) making important changes easier to notice.
To view changes to trips:
- Tap the circle with the name of the student who has an active trip. If there are any changes to the trip, on the trip card with the Upcoming or Live status, you will see an information icon (
) and all the
changes will be highlighted in red.You can tap
and then see the tooltip notifying you about the changes.
Alternatively, you can view summary of changes. Go to the (…) menu, and then tap Show Changes Summary. These options are available only when the trip has been changed.
A
new Changes Summary window lets parents view the latest trip updates by
tapping the change icon.
- The summary displays:
- Previous value
- Updated value
- Notification received time
- If a field changes multiple times,
only the latest change is shown.
- The Kebab menu Show Changes
Summary option is available from the trip menu when changes exist.
The kebab menu option
is hidden when no changes are tracked to the trip.
